Normandie at Starland Ballroom

Normandie at Starland Ballroom 5/17/24

Opening up the show, Normandie took the stage by storm. This Swedish alternative band came ready to blow away the crowd at Starland Ballroom and we couldn't have been more impressed with their delivery. From the first song all the way to the last, fans were off their feet and fully engaged in everything Normandie had to give.

Opening with their track "Serotonin," the band wasted no time in setting the tone for the evening. Lead vocalist Philip Strand's commanding presence immediately grabbed the attention of everyone in the venue. His vocals were raw, emotive, and filled with an intensity that resonated with the crowd. The entire band was nothing short of immense talent. Their chemistry on stage was unmatched, and it was evident that they were feeding off the energy of the crowd. There was something so special about the way Normandie interacted with their crowd. As they are a newer band, on their first trip the the United States, it was to be expected that the crowd would need some work, however we were all blown away by how much energy the crowd had to give. Even those who did not know the band, left with a new favorite.

Each song was electric and there was never an absence of energy with these guys. With their infectious energy, raw emotion, and undeniable talent, Normandie gave Starland Ballroom a memorable performance and we look forward to seeing what these guys have to give in the future.
